Automation kit
Collections Kit
Planned: an ageing list from your accounting export, checked reminder drafts, promise-to-pay tracking, and payments marked only from the bank statement.
Everything below describes the planned kit. The demo shows these ideas with a simulation. Nothing in this kit has yet been installed and tested in a real business; that is the next step.
The problem
Nobody has a clear list of who owes what, for how long, and who promised to pay when.
Who it is for
Businesses chasing overdue invoices from customers
Designed for (to be confirmed in pilot)
- Google Sheets
- Google Apps Script
- CSV or Excel export from your accounting software
CSV import and export are file transfers, not a live connection to Tally, Zoho, Busy or any other software.
Planned first-release scope
- Import of outstanding invoices from a CSV or Excel export
- Rows with missing data listed for correction, never guessed
- Ageing buckets: 0–30, 31–60, 61–90 and over 90 days
- Reminder drafts with the tone for each bucket, checked by a person
- Promise-to-pay dates and broken-promise flags
- Payment marked only by the accountant, from the bank statement
- Manager summary: total outstanding, over 60 days, broken promises
Not planned for the first release
- Marking invoices paid from a WhatsApp or email message
- Live connection to Tally, Busy, Zoho Books or a bank
- Automatic sending of reminders
- Legal notices or debt collection
- Interest or penalty calculation
Planned setup steps
- 1.Copy the Sheet template into your business Google account.
- 2.Export outstanding invoices from your accounting software as CSV or Excel.
- 3.Import the file and fix any rows the kit lists.
- 4.Write your reminder wording for each bucket.
- 5.Run one reminder and one promise end to end.
You need
- • A Google account owned by your business
- • Someone comfortable following a step-by-step setup guide
- • An accounting export of outstanding invoices
Support
Support terms will be published with the first installable release.
Questions
- Is this available to buy today?
- Not yet. Today you can try the interactive demo. The installable kit is being prepared and will be tested in a supervised pilot before it is sold.
- Where is my data stored?
- The plan: in your own Google account and Sheet, with Google processing it as your service provider. Saran Labs AI would not receive your invoices or customer data. This will be confirmed in the pilot.
- Can it mark an invoice paid when the customer says so?
- No. A message is logged as a claim. Only the accountant marks an invoice paid, after seeing the money in the bank statement.
- Does it send reminders by itself?
- No. It drafts them. Your accountant checks each one and sends it from your own email or WhatsApp.
- Is this AI?
- The core kit is rule-based automation: checks, routing and reminders you configure. Optional AI features would be separate, clearly labelled add-ons.
Pending
What the pilot will confirm
These points are not decided or proven yet. They will be settled with a supervised pilot in a real business before the kit is offered.

Which Sheet tabs, import formats and guides are delivered.
Accounting exports
Which software exports import cleanly, and how often to refresh them.

How data is backed up, exported and restored.
Support terms
Support period, response times and what setup help includes. Pending founder decision.
For larger teams and organisations
Need multiple departments, approval levels or connections to existing systems?
We can assess a tailored implementation. Scope, security requirements and integrations are agreed before delivery.
Path 1
Standard kit
A planned, customer-owned Google Sheet configuration with documented limits, for small teams.
Path 2
Tailored implementation
Discovery first: we map your process, systems and requirements, then agree scope in writing before any build.
